About My Practice

Quin McFadin
As a natural part of living, developing and expanding, we may reach a point where we need help, a time when we’re drawn to feel differently, perhaps to think about and view things in a new way, find out more about ourselves and the broad context of our life.

I provide a place to receive the emotional holding and perspective of a skilled practitioner. For 20 years I have practiced depth oriented, psychodynamic therapy with people of many identities and backgrounds, particularly focusing on those who have experienced childhood trauma, people who feel like gender and sexual “outsiders,” women in menopause, and individuals living with mood disorders. In my approach to our work I also incorporate mindfulness, somatic curiosity as well as attachment work. My strengths are authenticity, discernment and collaborating with you to create the kind of safety that can support and empower you to claim greater agency and a sense of efficacy in your life.
